These photos were made with a plastic Holga camera during the summers of 2017 and 2018.
I had memories of simple family cameras that were taken everywhere on holiday when I was a kid, and wanted to take pictures for fun, freely, without thinking of a 'subject'. This was my first experience of photographing my own life, and also expanded an interest in the way process and technology influence image making.
The series was exhibited in the public exhibition Here, there and everywhere, curated by Ambush Gallery, in Wollongong in 2019.
